GeeMeow’s first attempt at forum-marketing

Today, my groupmates and I tried our hands on forum-marketing and the outcomes were pretty interesting! We received replies that ranged from banning of threads to praises of GeeMeow.

Content: There is this hype going around my school in NUS. People are like talking about GeeMeow. So I went online and entered “”. It seems like people are excited about the “Hit-the-cat” game… That’s quite lame. Anyway, it seems pretty cool that the video conference and online collaboration tool requires no installation and registration.

Comment: Hardwarezone attempt 1 was pretty tamed and generated very little views under NUS section. However, we’re glad to say that post is there to stay! [DELETED THREAD]
Title: [SIC] Better than Skype and Google Hangout

Content: As someone who uses hangout and skype often, I often find it le chek that in order to start one online meeting, everyone has to either download something or login to something.
We would like to share a new tool that takes away all this hassle! Starting an online meeting is only a matter of sharing a link. We can do video conference, sharing a pdf, screenshare and even draw together!

Comment: Hardwarezone attempt 2 was deleted because we were outrightly advertising Our pictures on were dugged up and posted on that particular hardwarezone thread. Despite the initial hater posts, many of them began exploring our application and generally were excited about it. Their enthusiasm even caused the crash of the system twice! It was good stress testing overall.
